After a hugely successful Simply Beer Brew-off and Batch #1 of Iron Brewer, we are going to charge head on into Batch#2 of IRON BREWER! Same concept like the Iron Man Triathlon which features 3 unique events combined into 1 competition. The concept is simple, there will be 3 unique ingredients and you’ll need to combine them into a a one of a kind, unique, and most importantly delicious homebrew.
Does this interest you? If your a homebrewer, it should. It is a heck of a lot of fun, just ask the folks who did the Simply Beer Brewoff and batch #1.
Email Iron Brewer if you have questions, otherwise use the “Sign up for Iron Brewer” form to the right to be notified of the next entry opportunity.
The Rules!
The rules are simple but must be followed.
- All the ingredients must be used and completed in 8 weeks from the announced start date
- up to 8 competitors per round, first come first serve and you must send at least 2 12oz beers to each of the other competitors and to Iron Brewer Organizer (Peter Kennedy of Simply Beer).
- Have your recipe published on Iron Brewer.com. Iron Brewer is not taking the rights to your recipe, but sharing it with other homebrewers.
- participate in a live internet radio broadcast with all the other competitors.
- the honor system is in place here. This competition is meant to spur creativity, collaboration, and community with other homebrewers.
- Open to any Homebrewer with a Continental US mailing address. Sorry for the restriction, but it is very expensive to ship to Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada.
The Winner!
If there are rules and a competition, there must be a winner. The winner will be determined by the participants, several neutral beer geeks, and Peter Kennedy. The winner of each round will move forward to the championship round. Unlike Batch 1, the participant total homebrewer scores will be account for a total of 25% of the overall score and Iron Brewer Panel will account for the remaining 75%.

This is a great idea, I’d love to be a sponsor. Please email me so we can discuss this.
John
